Melissa Landers’s Starflight, pitched as “Overboard meets Firefly“, in which an orphan indentures herself to a wealthy, arrogant man in exchange for passage to a new world; but when an accident erases his memory, she convinces him that their roles are reversed and leads him on a series of intergalactic misadventures, to Laura Schreiber at Disney-Hyperion, in a pre-empt, by Nicole Resciniti at The Seymour Agency. –via Melissa Landers’s Twitter

Tez Says: The publisher is Disney-Hyperion, so I guess the “orphan” is a teenager. Is this “wealthy, arrogant man” supposed to be the love interest? If so, then readers really do need to know his age, in case of statutory situations.

That said, I’ve been more interested in space-set novels recently (no military or us-versus-them battle plots, please), so Starflight has my attention.
